Visas and Documentation
The traveler is responsible for carrying out the necessary procedures to obtain a visa, if required, and for meeting the entry requirements for Montenegro. We recommend checking the official Montenegrin government website (or an equivalent official site for travel information) and communicating directly with the Montenegrin Embassy or Consulate in your country to confirm that the information is up-to-date. It is the responsibility of each traveler to have the documentation in order and to comply with the requirements for entering and exiting Montenegro, regarding both the visa and the passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months upon your departure from Montenegro.
If your tour package includes Greece, please check if you need a Schengen Visa for the cruise to the Greek Islands. We remind you that the procedures are different for Montenegro and Greece. Travel Insurance
Passengers are advised to obtain international travel insurance directly from an insurance company that covers their entire trip, from their country until their return, including medical coverage, trip cancellation, and lost luggage.
If you choose not to obtain personal insurance, please notify NUEVO ESTAMBUL TRAVEL to include you, free of charge, in the Agency’s basic medical assistance insurance. The insurance company will reimburse you up to 1000 Euros for medical expenses you have paid in the event of an incident during our services. To register you under the policy, additional identification data for each traveler is required. For reimbursement, the insurer will ask you to present the medical reports and paid invoices. After reviewing your case, the insurer will reimburse the corresponding amount.
Reservations and Payments)
The client's deposit or payment for the confirmed trip reservation implies the complete knowledge and acceptance of all terms and conditions by all travelers included in that reservation. Please read the cancellation conditions carefully, and if you have any questions, consult us.
About Payment Methods
The private tour reservation is confirmed with the payment of 40% of the total amount to NUEVO ESTAMBUL TRAVEL (of the BOSFORO TURIZM company), which is necessary to guarantee the reservation and availability of the contracted services. The remaining 60% of the price will be paid upon your arrival in MONTENEGRO, by credit card or cash. (Consult conditions for reservations made through intermediary agencies). A reservation made with a deposit of less than 40% of the total amount has special conditions; it implies the payment of the remaining amount in cash in Montenegro and does not allow cancellation. If you wish to make a subsequent payment by card after the reservation, a penalty of 90 USD per person will be applied.
Depending on how far in advance of the travel date you make the reservation, you can complete the reservation payment via bank transfer or credit card. To book by card, we will send you an email with the link to our secure payment website after the itinerary you wish to undertake has been finalized. If you prefer to make the reservation payment by bank transfer, we will provide you with the bank account details for the BOSFORO TURIZM LTD. company, to which the NUEVO ESTAMBUL TRAVEL Agency belongs. To reserve by bank transfer, it is necessary to book with longer notice due to the availability of flights and hotels, as the transfer may take several days to be effective in the company's account, at which time the reservation of the contracted services would proceed.
Fees and Taxes
Tips for guides, drivers, etc., and hotel staff are not included in the package, and these expenses are at your discretion. Taxes, security fees, or other fees collected by governments, airports, airlines, and other entities are not included, unless specifically listed as features in the tour package.
Not Included in the Price
Room service charges, minibar, and internet, meals/dinners not indicated in the itinerary, laundry services, SPA and Health Club services, beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), visa costs, personal items, customs duties for entry/exit from the country, and other points not specifically included in the price of the package we offer you. If in doubt, please consult us when making the reservation.
Cancellations
We recommend that you purchase international travel insurance that covers you for cancellation fees, lost luggage, and full medical assistance from your country.
Before canceling your reservation, please note that any cancellation incurs expenses, whatever the cause. We recommend the option of changing the tour date for the entire group or that a friend or family member takes the trip in your place (replacement). With these options, the costs would be lower; you would only have to pay the amount corresponding to the new domestic flights. The change must be communicated at least 15 days in advance; otherwise, it will be considered a cancellation, and the corresponding penalty will apply.
In case of a replacement, the Agency will not reimburse any amount of the reservation, as the new passenger will occupy your place on the Tour and will pay the Agency the pending amount plus the additional cost corresponding to the new domestic flights. A family member or friend may come in your place; for this, you must notify us by email of your decision not to take the tour and send us the complete details of the person who will replace you in the same email, indispensably a few days before the start of the trip so that the necessary changes and reservations can be made without problem.
To cancel reservations, the client must send an email to NUEVO ESTAMBUL TRAVEL received before the date of arrival (start date of the trip). The agency will confirm receipt within the deadline and accept the cancellation and corresponding refund once the corresponding penalty has been applied, only if the reservation payment has been made effective to the agency by the travelers' banks.
Cancellations, whatever the reason, will incur a penalty of 20% of the total Tour amount; if the cancellation is communicated 15 days or less before the date of the trip, the penalty will be the total amount paid as a reservation; no refund will correspond.
In case the cancellation is by one traveler and not the entire group, we recommend that another person travel in their place, as the price of the Tour offered corresponds to the total number of people in the group. Therefore, the total cancellation of one or more people, without substitution, must be accepted by the rest of the group as it could change the price of the Tour for the remainder of the group.
NOTES: (1) If a discount was applied for 100% Total Payment in advance, no amount will be reimbursed in case of cancellation. The client will have the possibility of changing the travel dates before the start date, provided the client has informed the Agency at least 15 days in advance. The Agency will do its best to provide accommodation in the same Hotels and flight schedules as the postponed itinerary, but does not guarantee it. The client will agree to pay the extra cost of the new flights. (2) Reservations made through Intermediary Agencies will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. Request information about the possibility of changing travel dates and the additional cost, if applicable. (3) Reservations made with less than 40% of the total amount have the condition of non-cancellation; no refund is due. (4) Consult cancellation conditions for Special Offers.
Changes to Reservations
Once the tour reservation has been made, changes to dates, itinerary, or other types of changes requested by the client may incur an additional cost.
